The Village at Gordon House Maintains Three-Year License and Receives Deficiency-Free State Inspection
Gordonsville Assisted Living Facility Exceeds State Standards, Offers $1,500 Move-in Credit
GORDONSVILLE, VA - May 5, 2009 - The Village at Gordon House, an assisted living facility in close proximity to Charlottesville, Virginia, announced today that it has maintained a three-year license from the Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) and recently received a deficiency-free state inspection.
According to VDSS, "A three-year license may be issued when a facility's activities, services, and management routinely substantially exceed the minimum standards." A three-year license is the highest level of state certification available to assisted living facilities and confirms The Village at Gordon House consistently surpasses state requirements.
"The Village at Gordon House is thrilled to maintain this level of licensure," said Administrator Tom May. "We're pleased with the deficiency-free state inspection and look forward to offer a level of care and quality of life that seniors should be entitled to receive."
The assisted living facility currently has limited rooms available. The Village at Gordon House is holding an open house on Sunday, May 31, 2009, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The open house will include guided tours, music, and hors d'oeuvres. The facility is also offering a $1,500 move-in credit during the month of May, plus free cable hook-up, first month's utilities, and guest meals.
